We are proud to announce that we are partners in project INVICTUS – Inclusion via Culture of Sports. This is an Erasmus + youth exchange project funded by the European Union.
Dates of the project are 28.08. – 05.09.2020. and it will take place in Zagreb, Croatia.
Activities of the project will be martial arts sessions like taekwondo, karate, boxing, kickboxing, judo, self-defense, etc. Participants want to carry out the project because they have an interest in different forms of martial arts and outdoor activities, which seems to them as a great way to spend time with others and learn from each other, develop the sense of community and feel empowered. They understand that martial arts and physical activity is not just there to improve body shape or practice “fighting”, but that can help them in developing skills and competences needed for their full participation in society. They believe that martial arts can help them in overcoming many barriers and difficulties they are facing. The participants also feel motivated to meet youth from different countries in Europe, to learn about their cultures and to learn from them and their experiences.
This Youth exchange will integrate 60 young people and 8 accompanying persons from Poland, Romania, Bulgaria and Croatia. Background of participants is young people with disabilities and young people with fewer opportunities.
